Major markets of the city including Kaserath Bazaar, Sarafa Bazaar, Gol Market, Kothi Gate, Chandi Road, Pakka Bagh, Railway Road, Swarg Ashram Road, Awas Vikas Colony remained crowded with buyers throughout the day. Purchased steel, brass and copper utensils in Kaserath market.

More than 500 bikes and 100 cars sold

People made advance booking several days in advance for purchasing vehicles on Dhanteras. The vehicles were delivered on Tuesday. More than 500 two-wheelers and 100 cars were sold across the city, resulting in an estimated turnover of around Rs 20 crore in the automobile sector.

Business worth more than Rs 2 crore in bullion market

On Dhanteras, there was a huge crowd in the bullion market throughout the day. The highest demand was for silver coins. There was also a lot of purchase of silver Ganesh-Lakshmi idols, lamps and utensils. Along with this, jewelery along with gold coins was also sold in the market. More than two crore rupees were traded in the bullion market. Good business is expected on Wednesday also.

Smart TV, washing machines also sold well

The electronic market was also busy on Dhanteras. Showrooms were decorated and smart TVs, washing machines, microwave ovens, mixers were liked by the people and purchases were made. People also purchased their favorite phones. At the same time, chandeliers and colorful lights were also purchased extensively to decorate the houses.
