Thieves broke the locks of a vacant house on Nabbu Shah Road in Mohalla Lakda of Amroha Nagar Kotwali area and stole valuables worth lakhs of rupees and cash worth 1.65 lakh rupees. When the tenant reached the house from a relative’s house, the incident came to light. The house was vacant for two days.

According to the information received, Sonu son of Nafees Ahmad, a resident of Muzaffarnagar district, lives on rent in the house of Ali Hasan son of Maqbool on Nabbu Shah Road in Mohalla Lakra, Amroha. Sonu’s in-laws live in Amroha and he also works there. He told that on the 28th of last month, he had gone to his maternal uncle’s house in Delhi with his wife and children.
The tenant reached the room after two days, then the incident came to light
Now when he reached his house, the locks of his house were broken. The locks of the room of the house owner who lives in Delhi Okhla were also broken. All the things in the house were scattered, but the thieves took only one lakh sixty five thousand rupees and gold and silver jewellery kept in the house. Police station in-charge Rajesh Kumar Tiwari said that the matter is under cognizance. CCTV footage is being scanned. The incident will be exposed soon.
