In Hapur on Tuesday night, bike-borne miscreants robbed a bag containing Rs 9.50 lakh from the retailer of the bank. After which the miscreants fled. On getting the information, there was a stir in the police department. The officials reached the spot and investigated the matter.
On Tuesday night, Fino Payment Bank retailer Iqbal Mehndi was carrying cash on a bike. He had reached the Bulandshahr border in Kapurpur area. At the same time, the miscreants came riding on two bikes. The miscreants threw a stick on the hand of the retailer and dropped him from the bike. After this, the miscreants fled from the spot after snatching the bag full of notes.
The bag contained around Rs 9.50 lakh
The victim informed the police about the robbery. The victim told that he had around Rs 9.50 lakh in his bag. He was collecting this amount from different areas. As soon as the information about the robbery was received, there was a stir in the police. On getting the information, the higher officials inspected the spot.
Formation of six teams of police
The miscreants were searched extensively. But no clue was found. A case has been registered on the complaint of the victim. Six teams of police have been formed to investigate the incident. ASP Mukesh Mishra said that the search is on for the miscreants. Case was registered. 6 teams are looking for the miscreants. The incident will be disclosed soon.
