Handsome hunk Aditya Roy Kapur celebrated his 39th birthday on November 16. On the occasion of him turning a year older, his admirers and industry friends have flooded the internet with sweet messages and greetings to make him feel special. Joining the bandwagon was actress Parineeti Chopra, who worked together in the film Daawat-e-Ishq. To make the occasion even more special, his Daawat-e-Ishq co-star Parineeti Chopra took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt post.
Sharing a throwback picture of her and Aditya from the sets of Koffee With Karan on Instagram stories, Parineeti penned, “Dearest of alll, Happy bdayy! (heart emoji) @adityaroykapur.”
The Ludo actor also received a heartwarming wish from actress Rakul Preet Singh. “Happy Birthday, Adi! May the year to come be full of exciting achievements and moments of pure joy, and may you always be your amazing self. Lots of love, and have the best day,” she wrote.
Counted among the most handsome actors in Bollywood, Aditya Roy Kapur stepped into the entertainment industry as a VJ and later made his acting debut in 2009 with the musical drama London Dreams. His stellar performance landed him two more films featuring him in supporting roles. One was Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai starrer sci-fi romantic comedy Action Replayy, and the other was romantic drama Guzaarish, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. But he got his breakthrough in the industry with the musical romance Aashiqui 2 co-starring Shraddha Kapoor, released in 2013.
On the personal front, Parineeti Chopra last starred in Imtiaz Ali’s Amar Singh Chamkila, where she starred opposite Diljit Dosanjh. She essayed the role of Chamkila’s wife, Amarjot. However, the actress has not announced any new projects as of now.
Aditya Roy Kapur, on the other hand, has started shooting for Raj and DK’s new project in Mumbai. Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, the Netflix series promises a thrilling and edgy narrative with intense action and stunning visuals set in a fantastical kingdom. Later, he will be sharing screen space with Sara Ali Khan in Metro In Dino. Anurag Basu’s directorial also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi and Konkona Sen Sharma in pivotal roles.
