- There was a debate in the court of civil judge (senior division fast track) on the 2nd.
The debate on all sides was completed in the Ashutosh Tiwari Civil Judge Senior Division Fast Track Court on 2 April for the archaeological survey of the Gyanvapi campus. A decision will be taken on the entire matter later on Thursday afternoon. Orders can be issued from 1991 on the issue of the survey.
From the court 1991, the party Pandit Somnath Vyas demanded
Vijay Shankar Rastogi, an advocate and a friend of the self-proclaimed Lord Vishweshwar Kashi Vishwanath, told that the trial has been going on since 1991 in the local court for the archaeological survey of the Gyanvapi Mosque located in the same enclosure. It was demanded that the mosque is a part of the Jyotirlinga Vishveshwara temple. Where Hindu believers have the right to worship, visit and repair. This demand from the court was made by Swayambhu Jyotirlinga Visvesvara’s party Pandit Somnath Vyas. The issue should be resolved by conducting an archaeological survey.
Anjuman Intejamia Masjid and other opposition in the lawsuit
In the entire case, the self-proclaimed Lord Vishweshwar Kashi Vishwanath as the litigant and the other side is Anjuman Intezamia Masajid and Sunni Central Waqf Board. Advocate Mumtaz Ahmad, Rais Ahmed Central Waqf Board UP Taufiq Khan and Abhay Yadav had argued in the court on behalf of Anjuman Intejamia Masajid.
