There has been a fierce collision between a roadways Janrath bus and a tractor on National Highway 19 in Gopiganj of Bhadohi district. The tractor driver died on the spot in the accident, while a young man riding on the tractor was seriously injured. At the same time, 32 passengers aboard the bus have narrowly escaped in this accident.

The bus was going from Varanasi to Prayagraj
The accident happened late on Tuesday night on National Highway 19 of Gopiganj Kotwali area. Janrath bus of roadways was going from Varanasi towards Prayagraj. After filling diesel in the tractor from the petrol pump in Gopiganj, as soon as the driver reached the highway from the service road, there was a fierce collision between the bus going from the highway and the tractor. Both the tractor and the bus were damaged in the accident.

Tractor driver died on the spot
Manoj Yadav, the 34-year-old driver of the tractor, died on the spot after the bus and tractor collided. While another youth riding on the tractor was seriously injured. The injured youth has been referred to Varanasi for treatment.

The officers reached the spot late in the night and talked to the injured.

Passengers were sent to the destination
It is being told that there were a total of 32 passengers in the bus. All the passengers have narrowly escaped in this accident. Passengers have been sent ahead through another bus. On the information of the accident, Additional District Officer Shailendra Kumar Mishra reached Community Health Center Gopiganj. He obtained information related to the accident from the concerned authorities.

Both the vehicles were damaged in the collision between the tractor and the bus.

The Additional District Magistrate who reached the spot said that all the passengers in the bus were safe. A young man riding a tractor has been seriously injured, who has been referred to Varanasi. The passengers have been sent to their destinations. The relatives of the deceased have also been informed.
