On Wednesday night near village Bamhori Nagal under Kotwali Sadar area of Lalitpur district, the tractor went uncontrolled and fell into a 10 feet deep pit located on the roadside. Due to which two farmers died. On getting information about the incident, the police took the body in possession and sent it for post-mortem. Relatives told that the farmers were coming back home after selling food grains from Lalitpur Mandi when on the way the accident happened due to bursting of tractor tire.
Godan Rajput (60 years), a resident of village Jharkaun of Kotwali Sadar area, had come to Lalitpur on Wednesday along with Seklal Ahirwar (40 years), Shivdin (50 years) and Anandi Ahirwar (45 years) of the village to sell food grains. He was going back with a tractor trolley after selling food grains at 10 o’clock in the night. Seklal was driving the tractor. When those people had reached near the Sidvan temple near village Bamhori Nagal, the tractor trolley went uncontrollably and fell into a 10 feet deep pit on the side of the road. Due to which all the four people got injured. On receiving the information, the relatives reached the spot and brought them to the district hospital for treatment. Where Seklal and Godan were declared dead by the doctors.
Seklal was the youngest of three brothers
Manoj, the younger brother of the deceased Seklal, told that Seklal was the eldest of three brothers and has three children. He was the driver of the tractor. Apart from this, he used to do farming. He told that due to the bursting of the front tire of the tractor, the tractor went out of control and fell into the pit along with the trolley. Inspector Vinod Kumar Mishra, in-charge of Kotwali Sadar, said that both the bodies have been sent for post-mortem after taking possession.
