A speeding trailer lost control and overturned in the middle of the Pratapgarh Prayagraj highway in front of the Rajgarh U-turn State Bank Tiny branch under the Bhupiyamau outpost of the Kotwali Dehat police station of Pratapgarh. The driver had a narrow escape. But as his condition was critical, the doctor from the medical college referred him to Prayagraj. The trailer driver Seda Hasan (45) is a resident of Muzaffarnagar.
Accidents caused by contractor’s negligence
The driver said that he was going to Khalilabad after loading cement from Baghwar of Sidhi district. Cement bags were scattered on the highway. Work is going on on the bypass of Dharupur village on the highway. The highway has been made one way for one kilometer. Due to this, vehicles are moving on only one route. Road accidents are happening every day due to the negligence of the highway contractors.
