Training will be given at three centres: DM took meeting, action will be taken against those who are absent




Training will be given at three centers for voting in Agra. Action will be taken against whoever is absent in the training. The meeting for Lok Sabha elections 2024 was held on Monday in the auditorium of the CDO office. DM gave information regarding training in the meeting. In the meeting chaired by DM and District Election Officer Bhanu Chandra Goswami, it was told that to provide training to the polling personnel, the training of 196 master trainers of different departments should be done in groups of 20-20. So that they can be trained effectively. The training will be held from April 6 to 8 at Agra College Law Faculty, St. John's Girls Inter College and RBS College. Training will be given from 9 to 12 in the morning and from 2 to 5 in the afternoon. District Economics and Statistics Officer, Deputy Director of Agriculture and District Agriculture Officer have been named officers in-charge for training. Two master trainers will be assigned duty in each room for training. DM also gave these orders: DM directed in the meeting that the applications received for relieving the personnel engaged in polling from duty will be thoroughly examined by Nodal Officer Personnel, Chief Development Officer. Will be considered for relief from election duty on the basis of merit. Additional District Magistrate (Judicial) was nominated for arranging voting through postal ballot. Instructions were given to the concerned officer of the Municipal Corporation to make arrangements for drinking water, cleanliness, mobile toilets etc. at the training centres. DM directed that strictest legal action will be taken against those personnel who remain absent in the training under relevant sections of the Representation of the People Act. Present in the meeting were CDO Pratibha Singh, CMO Dr. Arun Kumar Srivastava, District Development Officer Rakesh Ranjan, DC MNREGA Ramayan Singh Yadav, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Ajay Kumar and officials of other concerned departments were present.
