Two people have died due to the storm that hit Lakhimpur Kheri late at night. It is said that Ghanshyam Giri, a resident of Dhakherwa, was returning home from Palia with his family. Meanwhile, a tree suddenly fell on his car near the town Andesh Nagar, due to which Ghanshyam Giri died.

The second incident is from Belwa village of Hyderabad police station area. Vikas Verma died after getting buried under the bricks of a concrete wall which collapsed after a storm and rain late at night. The local police, who arrived after getting information about the incident, took the bodies of the deceased in both the incidents and sent them to the district headquarters for postmortem after filling the Panchayat Nama.
