The Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad has taken major action following the arrest of two terrorists Abdul Latif Mir and Ashraf Khatana associated with terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammad in Delhi. Two suspected terrorists have been arrested from Saharanpur. The suspected terrorists are from Bangladesh. Aadhar cards and passports made from Saharanpur have been recovered from them. These people had these passports and Aadhaar cards made from fake documents. The numbers of many foreign suspects have been found active in both their mobile phones. The ATS produced both of them in court, from where they were sent to jail for 14 days of judicial custody.
ATS started gathering details of talks with foreigners
The names of the suspected terrorists arrested are Iqbal and Farooq. Fake identity cards have been found from them. ATS has been collecting details of the conversations on the numbers of foreigners received from the accused’s phone. Police will inquire on remand if needed. It is feared that the terrorists arrested in Delhi were in contact with both of them.
Terrorists arrested in Delhi came to Deoband
In fact, Delhi Police’s Special Cell on Monday night arrested terrorists Abdul Latif Mir and Ashraf Khatana of Baramulla and Kupwara in Jammu and Kashmir. Two semi-automatic pistols and 10 live cartridges were recovered from the terrorists. These terrorists used to talk to Pakistan on WhatsApp group. Their targets were VIPs and VIPs in the national capital. During interrogation, it was found that both of them had gone to Deoband in Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh during the coronation. ATS was activated only after receiving the Deoband connection.
