While Kavita is still absconding. The police is searching for her. The whole incident is of June 5 in Shripatipur village under Dokati police station area.

The body was found in the field on the morning of June 5.

The whole matter at a glance

On Saturday morning, June 6, the body of Kamlesh Bind (34) was found in suspicious condition near his house in Shripatipur village of Dokati police station area. Villagers informed the police as soon as they saw the body in the morning. ASP Durga Prasad Tiwari arrived on the information and after investigation sent the body for postmortem.

The police started solving the case. During investigation it was found that the wife of the deceased had fled from the spot. After enquiring around, the police arrested Rajesh Sahni, resident of Shripatipur, the lover of the deceased Kamlesh’s wife Kavita, and the case was solved.

Accused Rajesh said that he caught him so he killed him.

Now first confession of accused Rajesh

Rajesh told that I had an illicit relationship with Kamlesh’s wife Kavita for a long time. Kamlesh used to live in Dubai earlier. Taking advantage of this, we both used to meet each other regularly. After a few days, Kamlesh came home. Even then our talks and meetings continued.

On the night of 5th June, Kamlesh and I went to a Tilak ceremony. I returned from the ceremony after some time. Kamlesh was at the Tilak ceremony. In such a situation, I called Kavita to meet me. Kavita came to meet me in the shed outside the house in the field.

After some time Kamlesh also returned home. Not finding his wife at home, he started searching for her. While searching, Kamlesh reached the thatched roof in the field some distance away from the house and saw me and his wife Kavita. There an argument broke out between me and Kamlesh.

Then in anger I hit him on the head with a stick lying nearby. Due to which he died on the spot. Both of us ran away leaving Kamlesh there. I was trying to run away from here, but the police caught me. I don’t know where Kavita is.

Kamlesh was murdered in this same hut.

The accused was arrested on the information of an informer

ASP Durga Prasad Tiwari said that information was received from the informer that Kamlesh murder case accused Rajesh Sahni is present at Krishnanagar Dhala in an attempt to escape. He is waiting for a vehicle.

As soon as the information was received, surveillance in-charge Vishwanath Yadav, SWAT in-charge sub-inspector Kaushal Kumar Pathak and Dokati police station in-charge Madan Patel arrested Rajesh from Krishnanagar Dhala. On the indication of the accused, the police recovered the stick used in the murder.
