UP Board Result 2024: Over 80% Copies Checked, Evaluation Process to Remain Closed for Three Days – News18

The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (UPMSP) has started the preparation process to release the results of classes 10, and 12 board exams 2024. The evaluation of copies of high school and intermediate examinations has started. So far, the evaluation work of 83.46 per cent of copies of the UP board examination has been completed. By March 31, the evaluation work of a total of 3,01,17,723 copies of high school and intermediate is set to be completed. A total of 95,48,940 copies have been evaluated so far.

The evaluation of copies is set to take place in 13 working days between March 16 to 31. However, the evaluation work will not take place from today, March 24 up to March 26 due to Holi. This year, a total of 94,802 examiners have been appointed to evaluate 1.76 crore answer sheets of high school examinations. Whereas 52,295 examiners have been appointed to evaluate 1.25 crore answer sheets of the intermediate examination. This means around 1,47,097 examiners have been appointed to evaluate 3.01 crore answer sheets.

As many as 131 evaluation centres have been created for the evaluation of high school answer sheets and 116 evaluation centers have been created for the evaluation of intermediate answer sheets. Out of the total 260 evaluation centres, 83 government and 177 non-government aided secondary schools have been made evaluation centres. The UP 10th, and 12th examinations 2024 were conducted between February 22 and March 9.

UP Board Secretary Dibya Kant Shukla had said that a total of 3,24,008 candidates did not appear for the examination. 1,84,986 candidates had left the examination in high school and 1,39,022 registered did not take the intermediate exam. A total of 55,25,308 candidates had registered for the 10th and 12th board exams 2024 in UP. A total of 29,99,507 candidates were registered in high school, while 25,25,801 candidates were registered in the intermediate exam.
