The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh will present its fifth and full budget in the assembly on Monday, which will be paperless on the lines of the central government. Legislative assembly elections are due next year in 2022. In such a situation, there are speculations that the Yogi government can present the largest budget in history, which can be from 5.5 to 5.6 lakh crores. The total budget in the current financial year is 5.13 lakh crores. With this, the name and a record of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is going to be added, he is the first CM of the BJP government, under whose supervision the budget will be presented for the 5th time.
Budget increased like this every year, when was it based on?
The size of the budget has increased every year since the formation of BJP government in the state. The government presented its first budget of 3.84 lakh crore in the financial year 2017-18. Despite this, without increasing any tax on the public, the loan waiver of 86 thousand farmers and about 36 thousand crore rupees was spent as the seventh pay commission. Now the fifth budget of CM Yogi is also expected to be huge.

Know why Yogi’s new record is being made
There have been five Chief Ministers at various times in BJP governments in Uttar Pradesh. Kalyan Singh has been chief minister twice, Ram Prakash Gupta and Rajnath Singh have been chief ministers of Uttar Pradesh once. Yogi Adityanath became the Chief Minister on 19 March 2017 and still holds his post. For the first time in the state, BJP was formed in 1991 and the Chief Minister was crowned by Kalyan Singh. But on 6 December 1992, the government of Kalyan Singh was sacked due to the Babri Masjid demolition in Ayodhya. He was able to remain on the post of Chief Minister for 1 year 165 days. Although the Kalyan Singh government would not have been sacked, it would naturally have completed its term, as the government was formed with an absolute majority.
One trillion dollar target
Economic expert Arvind Jaiswal says that the Yogi government through its last four budgets has done the task of making all the regions inclusive. However, there are also assembly elections next year. So most of the hope is that this time the government will focus on the areas in its budget, which have been reduced. He says that if the dream of a trillion dollar economy is realized then it will prove to be a milestone in the development of the state.
In the past, all the party MLAs were given tablets by the government and they were also trained to operate it.
