After the couple’s bodies were found hanging, DCP East Shravan Kumar Singh and Maharajpur police station in-charge arrived at the spot to investigate.
In Kanpur, the bodies of the couple were found hanging from a noose made of a fan. Both of them were married 3 years ago. The police and forensic team of Maharajpur police station reached the spot to investigate. At present, nothing suspicious has been found during the investigation. The case is from Bhadasa village of Maharajpur.

Family members were questioned to know the reason behind the suicide
DCP East Shravan Kumar Singh said that the bodies of Arvind (28) and his wife Archana (25), residents of Bhadasa village in Maharajpur, were found hanging. The bodies of both were found hanging from a fan in the room.
Arvind’s father Mahesh Chandra said that even after morning there was no movement in the room. His wife called out many times but there was no response. When he went inside the room and saw, the ground slipped under his feet. The bodies of his son and daughter-in-law were hanging from the fan with the help of a noose.
As soon as the information of the incident was received, hundreds of people from the village gathered. Every person was talking about different things. On the other hand, as soon as the information was received, the police of Maharajpur police station along with DCP East Shravan Kumar Singh, ACP Chakeri Dilip Singh and forensic team reached the spot to investigate.
The DCP said that nothing suspicious was found during the investigation. In the preliminary investigation, the case seems to be a suicide. The cause of death will be clear after the post-mortem report comes. Efforts are being made to know the reason for the suicide by interrogating the family members.
