The CBI did not get remand of JE (Junior Engineer) Rambhavan arrested in the child sexual abuse case even today. After the hearing, the court of Banda’s ADJ-5 reserved the decision till tomorrow i.e. 25 November. The accused is accused of sexually abusing more than 50 children from three districts. He was arrested from Chitrakoot. Accused JE Rambhavan was working in the irrigation department, he was suspended after his arrest.
The CBI had filed an application in the court for a 5-day remand of the accused engineer. On which November 19, Justice Mohammad Rizwan fixed the date for November 24 for hearing. Now the court will give its verdict on Wednesday. At the same time, engineer Rambhavan Corona positive has also been found. He is kept in a separate barrack in jail. Health has also been investigated.
Treatment of accused in jail
Banda Jail Deputy Superintendent of Prison Vishweshwar Pratap Singh (VP Singh) said that Engineer Rambhavan, arrested on charges of child sexual abuse, was brought to jail on 18 November. CBI will not take remand unless the report is negative
In this case, it is expected that the CBI can wait till the report of the accused comes negative. Once the report is negative, CBI can also file a remand application again. Or it may happen that if the court approves the remand application tomorrow or Wednesday and gives the decision in favor of CBI, then the officer can refuse to take the accused till the negative report comes.
Accused victimized more than 50 children
The accused junior engineer Rambhavan was arrested by the CBI from his house in Chitrakoot on 16 November. He hunted over 50 children in Hamirpur, Banda and Chitrakoot. His video has been created and uploaded on social media and sold to foreign countries. He is in judicial custody till 30 November. The CBI had recovered Rs 8 lakh, laptop, webcam and all the devices to store videos from him.
