Voting is going on in 18 districts for the first phase of the three-tier panchayat elections today, amid the threat of corona in Uttar Pradesh. Voting is going on in Agra, Kanpur Nagar, Ghaziabad, Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Prayagraj, Bareilly, Bhadohi, Mahoba, Rampur, Rae Bareli, Shravasti, Santakbirnagar, Saharanpur, Hardoi and Hathras. Jhansi, Saharanpur, Kanpur, Hardoi, Ghaziabad and Gorakhpur have been placed in sensitive category in terms of security.
