UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination will be held on 9th June.

An alert has been issued across the state regarding the Uttar Pradesh B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination. In order to ensure the smooth conduct of the exam, apart from the administrative officers including the university, security agencies have also been instructed to increase surveillance.

Extreme caution is also being taken to conduct a paper leak proof examination. Along with issuing strict instructions to all the examination centers, the control-command center will be monitored. On the other hand, Lucknow University (LU) has released an updated list of centers for the Uttar Pradesh B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination-2024 to be held on June 9. Earlier 33 centers were set up in 5 districts. Now this number has come down to 27. This includes 15 centers in Lucknow, 3 in Hardoi, 2 in Sitapur, 3 in Rae Bareli and 4 in Lakhimpur Kheri.

Once again the responsibility was handed over to Jhansi University

This time the responsibility of conducting the UP B.Ed Joint Entrance Examination has been given to Bundelkhand University Jhansi. Lucknow University spokesperson Prof. Durgesh Srivastava said that 12 thousand 857 candidates will appear in the examination in all the 5 districts under LU.

2 Exam will be conducted in shifts

The first shift of the exam will be from 9 am to 12 noon. It will have a general knowledge and language (English/Hindi) exam. The second shift will be from 2 pm to 5 pm for aptitude test and subject proficiency (arts, science, commerce, agriculture).

There will be negative marking

There will be negative marking in the B.Ed entrance exam paper. Each question will be of two marks. Two marks will be given for each correct answer. 1/3 of the total two marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
