A mega vaccination camp is being organized in Lucknow today amidst the possibilities of third wave of corona. The government has given a target of vaccinating 86,400 people to the Health Department. However, the Health Department has made a plan to vaccinate more than one lakh people. In this campaign, the first and second doses will be given to the beneficiaries using both Covishield and Covaccin vaccines. At the same time, the Control Command Center has been activated for the prevention of dengue.

7.75 crore i.e. 28.8% people in the state have taken at least one dose to prevent corona. 5.7% of people have received both doses of the vaccine. At present there are only 235 active cases. Out of this, 26 active cases are from Lucknow.

Vaccination will be done at 461 booths
Under the mega vaccination campaign in the capital, people will be vaccinated at 461 vaccination booths in the city. District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash said that vaccination will be done at a total of 461 booths of 160 session sites in the district. Around 250 beneficiaries will be vaccinated at each booth. He said that in addition to online slot booking, 104 workplace centers have also been set up for vaccination in this campaign.

The beneficiary has to carry only ID card (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter Card, Passport, Driving License). Here the beneficiaries will be registered on the Co-Covin portal and will be vaccinated. In this campaign, arrangements have been made for the beneficiaries to sit, drinking water, sanitizers and masks etc.

Control command center set up for dengue
To prevent dengue fever, a control command center has been set up by the district administration, Lucknow.
