Poonam Sharma, a resident of Rampur, was going to be bound for seven births on Sunday night. The women in the house were singing Mangalgat. She was to go on stage for Varmala. Wedding on the day of counting
Poonam Sharma, daughter of Gangasaran, a resident of Mohammadpur Jadid village in Milak block, was married to a young man from Buffery village in Shahi police station area of Bareilly district. The wedding date was fixed on May 2. Poonam contested the panchayat member from ward number 135 in the panchayat election. At the time when the procession was coming to his door on Sunday, his fate was also being decided at the counting place. The family members were busy in the wedding, but the counting of updates was also being taken through the agents repeatedly. It was revealed at around 10 pm that Poonam had won the election.
Then the bride left the Poonam pavilion and reached the Mandi Samiti and got her certificate. She looked very happy after getting the certificate. He told that he had filled the form for the post of BDC and that he had to win on Sunday night. When she came to know that she had won the BDC, she rushed to get her certificate and after taking the certificate, the rituals of marriage were completed.
Election won by 31 votes
The returning officer said that Poonam has got 601 votes and won the election with a margin of 31 votes. The returning officer congratulated Poonam for the wedding, dressed in a red couple. Poonam’s victory made the in-laws and householders very happy.
