Relatives and police present creating ruckus after the death of pregnant during operation.

A pregnant woman died during the operation. The relative created a ruckus in the hospital accusing the doctor of negligence. The police reached the spot and pacified the people by assuring action against the accused doctor. The body of the woman was sent for post-mortem.

Poonam’s wife Rohit Kumar, a resident of Pachenda Khurd, was undergoing treatment at Metro Hospital located on Roorkee Road in Thana Civil Line area. According to relatives, the doctor Dr. Jamir Hasan had given the date for delivery on Friday. Rohit told that he had reached the hospital on Friday with his pregnant wife Poonam as per the doctor’s instructions. Told that before the operation, the amount of hemoglobin in Poonam’s body was said to be low. On which they told to take him to another hospital. But the doctor denied this and assured that he would get the delivery done. Told that twice he tried to call the ambulance. But the hospital staff did not refer his patient. After which he gave written permission to the doctor for Poonam’s operation for delivery. Told that during the operation Poonam died due to the negligence of the doctor. After which there was a lot of commotion in the hospital. The relatives tussle with the doctor to know the reason for Poonam’s death. Within no time the hospital staff disappeared from the spot. The police station civil police pacified the people after explaining them. The body of the deceased woman was sent for post-mortem. Inspector-in-Charge Police Station Civil Line Bijendra Rawat says that on the basis of the post-mortem report, a case will be registered and investigation will be done.
