The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the notification for the National Defense Academy and Naval Academy (NDA / NA) – I, 2021 exam. Candidates can check the notification on the official website of the Commission, upsc.gov.in. The online application process for appearing in the examination has started from December 30. Candidates can apply for the exam by 19 January. Applications will be accepted in online mode only. In such a situation, candidates will be able to apply through the official website upsconline.nic.in.
This time there will be examination for 370 vacancies
This time, notifications have been issued for a total of 370 vacancies in the NDA. This includes 208 vacancies for the Army, 42 for the Navy and 120 for the Air Force. In addition, there are 30 vacancies for the Naval Academy. The selection of the candidates will be based on the written examination conducted by the Commission and the Intelligence and Personality Test of the Service Selection Board (SSB). Candidates who pass the written examination will be called for the SSB test.

Application opportunity by 19 January 2020
The last date for application for the examination has been fixed on January 19. Apart from this, candidates can withdraw their application between 27 January to 2 February. The special thing is that 12th pass candidates wishing to join the army can also apply for these posts. Candidates can apply through the official website upsconline.nic.in.
Exam pattern
The written examination of NDA consists of two papers. Out of this, the first paper is of 300 marks, in which only math questions are asked. At the same time, the second paper is for the General Ability Test of 600 marks, in which questions of 200 marks are asked from the English subject, while the remaining 400 marks come from subjects like Science, History, Geography, Current Affairs etc.
