No information is found at BHU hospital gate.
- DM said – constantly meeting with the hospital management, but no improvement
- Correct information is not given to patients even on the display board, people are getting upset
DM Kaushal Raj Sharma has taken a tough stand on complaints of negligence in the treatment of corona infected patients in BHU’s super specialty block in Varanasi. The DM has sent a report to the Union Health Ministry regarding the negligence. The DM says that despite repeated letters to the BHU administration, the Union Health Ministry has been apprised of the lack of complaints. Along with this, reports are also being sent to the state government. The DM said that this is the situation when full cooperation is being done in the process of investigation and treatment including regular meeting with the BHU administration. At BHU, patients have to wait for hours for beds. Even after the Chief Minister has said, so far no correct information about the beds is available through the display board. In the death of several patients within the last one week, family members have demanded action by alleging negligence. At the same time, a doctor has alleged that my wife persecuted the furs but no one saw it.
After this, the patients in their side beds again told the daughter-in-law that Urmila had fallen from the bed. Ultimately his wife died due to negligence in treatment. With this, his mobile has also disappeared. Daroga Omprakash Pandey, a resident of Kachhwan in Mirzapur, has demanded the police of Lanka police station to take legal action as per rules against doctors and employees who have been negligent in the treatment of his wife.
At the same time, BH SK’s MS SK Mathur told that he does not know the matter of the Ministry of Health. My medical staff and doctors are serving patients day and night. The doctors themselves are also becoming positive. Our team is making every effort.
Did not come to see the doctor for 12 hours
Finance Controller of Development Authority Sadan Gopal Mishra died on Tuesday. He was ill since 20 April. He was admitted to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay District Hospital after being admitted to the BHU Trauma Center to see him for 12 hours. If the situation did not improve there, he was admitted to a private hospital, where he died.
Life lost due to lack of oxygen
Violinist Dr. Savarna Kunteya of BHU’s Faculty of Music and Stage Arts died due to lack of oxygen in BHU. His colleagues allege that Dr. Savarna has not been given oxygen for two days. Savarna was very nervous to see the plight of BHU Kovid ward. They had said that she could not breathe without oxygen cylinders. After the investigation, the report came but no doctor had reached for treatment. If he had got oxygen or medicine, he might have been saved.
