The government advocate said – the court has the right to grant parole
On this matter, Senior Government Advocate of Civil Court Sultanpur, Vivek Vikram Singh said that DM does not have the right to grant parole to any accused. If the accused is a convicted convict, then he is the accused of governance. The DM can grant parole by sending a report to the government. But if the accused is not a convict, then the court which sent him to jail can only give him parole.
