In Ayodhya district, on Wednesday, the police arrested five members of an inter-caste gang who cheated in the name of providing fake documents to jobless people. The gang had cheated 18 lakh rupees from a lawyer. After this, the police registered a case and started investigation. Police has also recovered all fake documents from the possession of the accused.
Police of two police stations caught
Superintendent of Police SK Singh said that the team of Police station Hyderganj and Bikapur Kotwali arrested these vicious thugs from near Dhobna intersection of Haiderganj area. The accused have been identified as Manoj Pathak, Anil Kumar Yadav, Jai Prakash Dubey, Shravan Kumar Tiwari and Santosh Kumar Gautam. He told that this gang has spread all over the state, which cheats millions of people by luring unemployed people to get jobs in various government departments.
The lawyer had filed the case
The gang had defrauded Vishwanath Nishad, a lawyer from Haiderganj area, Rs 18 lakh. He gave rupees in the name of getting the jobs of his son, daughter and nephew. The appointment letter later turned out to be fake in the investigation But by then the gang had escaped. A gang search was started after this episode. But the master mind of the gang is still absconding. Other gang members are also being searched. The five accused arrested have been sent to jail. A case has been registered against them under sections of fraud, forgery and cheating etc.
Vicious were also imparted training in Ranchi
According to the police, this gang, working in the case of fake recruitment, cleverly used to implicate the unemployed. This gang used to prepare fake appointment letter call letter, appointment letter etc. of almost all government departments including FCI, Income Tax, Railways, Police etc. and scanned them as real. So that people do not get suspicious. After this, these people used to run a program of training of unemployed people in Ranchi or outside provinces for fake appointment letters to keep them trapped.
