For the third time in 20 days, the scope of lockdown increased in the second in six days.
Uttar Pradesh is moving towards complete lockdown to break the Corona epidemic chain. On Wednesday, the Yogi government has extended the mini lockdown issued from eight o’clock in the evening of April 30 to May 10, that is till 7 am on Monday. Within the last six days, the Yogi government has extended the scope of lockdown on the second.
Earlier, on April 29, voting was held for the last phase of the panchayat elections. On the same day, the government extended the restrictions to 7 am Tuesday, increasing the scope of weekend lockdown. On May 3, the lockdown period was extended until Thursday morning.
So increased lockdown
After the end of panchayat elections and voting, the infection is expected to spread rapidly in the villages of the state. In this sequence, a special tracing campaign has been started from today in villages of 75 districts of the state to deal with corona. For this, a committee of the Health Department has been formed at the district level, which will go to the block level and village to village to investigate Kovid-19. For the next five days, monitoring committees and rapid response teams will knock door-to-door in 97 thousand revenue villages. One million medicine kits were given to the monitoring committees, 10 lakh antigen test kits were given to the rapid response teams. The teams will check the health condition of the villagers by performing pulse oximeter and other tests. On receiving the symptoms, a medicine kit will be isolated. The patient will be admitted to the hospital on need.
E-pass will be issued
The government has issued a guideline amidst ‘mini lockdown’ in the state. Now an e-pass will be issued for the movement of essential commodities. Also, the institutions supplying the necessary items will also have to take a pass. Public can also apply for e-pass to seek medical services. Along with this, the Chief Minister can complain on the help number 1076 in case of non-availability of essential goods. To apply you have to go to rahat.up.nic.in. After this, the application can be filled by going to rahat.up.nic / epass.
There is also a provision for institutional passes in the e-pass portal. In which the institution can apply for 5 personnel including the applicant. E-pass electronic copy will also be valid. Also, e-passes will be issued for the inter-district border along the border of the district. The duration of the pass for the institutions will be for the entire period. At the same time, for the general public, the validity of the district pass will be 1 day and that of the endogenous pass will be 2 days. These numbers can also be contacted to apply.
