The administration is holding meetings every day regarding the Mudia Purnima fair to be held in Mathura’s Govardhan. The preparations going on for the fair are being finalized. The fair area has been divided into 21 zones and 62 sectors. Along with this, a 21 km long Parikrama (circumambulation) will be organized.

Monsoon To Attention In By placing of Go doing Preparation

The administration is alert about the Mudia Purnima fair to be held in Govardhan. Preparations are being made for the 7-day fair. Monsoon is also being taken care of during the preparations for the fair. If it rains, the devotees coming for the parikrama should not face any kind of problem. For this, Additional District Magistrate Finance and Revenue Yoganand Pandey has reached Govardhan and is reviewing the arrangements.

The DM has assigned the duty of ADM Finance and Revenue to keep an eye on the arrangements being made during the fair.

The Govardhan Parikrama route is 21 kilometers long. Keeping this in mind, every kilometer has been divided into zones. Apart from this, 62 sectors have been created. There will be magistrates, police officers, health and electricity department officers in every zone. Similarly, officers are being assigned duty at the sector level as well. Every officer will do duty for 12 hours. An officer will not leave the duty point until another officer comes in his place.

During Govardhan Parikrama, the administration has identified 5 such places where there is maximum crowd. DM said that Daan Ghati, Mukut Mukharbind Temple, Radha Kund, Kusum Sarovar and Mansi Ganga are the places where there is maximum crowd. This time such arrangements are being made that the crowd does not stay for long at these 5 places. For this, magistrate level officers will be put on duty who will keep the crowd under control.

Cleaning Arrangement create Of Given Instruction

During the Mudia Purnima fair, cleanliness will also be a big challenge for the administration. For this, apart from Govardhan, Radha Kund Nagar Panchayat, employees of the surrounding Gram Panchayats are being deployed. The cleaning staff will maintain cleanliness in the entire 21 km fair area. For this, instructions have been given to the Village Development Officer apart from the EO of Govardhan, Radha Kund Nagar Panchayat.

60 Locations But get it done will Vehicle park

60 places have been marked for parking to avoid traffic jams during the Mudia Purnima fair to be held in Govardhan. Arrangements are also being made to ensure that the parking spaces do not get flooded in case of rain. These parking spaces will be made on all the roads leading to Govardhan. During the fair, the Parikrama Marg will be a no vehicle zone.

1100 Roadways Bus drove will go

Uttar Pradesh Transport Department will run 1100 buses for Mudia Purnima Mela. These buses will be operated from Mathura Railway Station and Mal Godown Road. 1000 buses will run continuously while 100 buses will be kept in reserve. Apart from this, 15 buses will also run from Kosi via Barsana. Since some part of the Mela area falls in Rajasthan, the arrangements there are being made by the Rajasthan government.
