After a break of 17 days, monsoon has again entered UP via Agra. On Friday, Agra also received 24 mm rainfall. According to IMD, right now, the monsoon trough line i.e. low pressure is present between Delhi and Agra. In the next 3 to 4 days, monsoon is likely to make its presence felt.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a warning of heavy rain in 22 districts of UP today. Out of which 12 districts are from West UP only. A yellow alert for heavy rain has been issued in UP for the next 4 days i.e. till July 30.
Earlier, after raining in Bundelkhand for the last two days, the monsoon winds have stopped again. On Friday, only 5.6 mm of rain fell in 50 districts of UP. Which is 38% less than the average. There was 21% less rain in East UP and 57% less rain in West UP. So far in the monsoon month, clouds have brought rain up to 285 mm in the entire state, which is 9% less than the normal 313.2 mm.
On Friday, Fursatganj in Raebareli received the highest rainfall of 60 mm in UP. According to BHU meteorologist Prof. Manoj Kumar Srivastava, monsoon activity has increased in West UP including Delhi and Agra. Monsoon is expected to become active in entire UP after 3 days. Rains may start again from next Monday.

Due to the monsoon break in UP, the temperature has crossed 38 degrees Celsius. Humidity and sticky heat have made people miserable. On Friday, Kushinagar was the hottest district in UP. The temperature here was recorded at 38 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the district with the hottest night in UP for the third consecutive day was Lakhimpur Kheri. The temperature here was recorded at 31°C.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be heavy rains in some places in UP till July 30. At the same time, there may be very heavy rains in UP for 2 to 3 days after that.
