In Churamanpur village of Lohta police station area in Varanasi, a woman fell from the roof under suspicious circumstances. He was taken to BHU’s Trauma Center, where he died. Shikshamitra deceased’s mother has accused the teacher husband of pushing her off the roof after a dispute. In the case, Lohta police has registered a case of culpable homicide against the accused husband. The police is searching for her husband.
Married seven years ago
Neetu Pandey (32) of Puwari Kala village in Varanasi was married seven years ago to Vikas Pandey, a resident of Chittapur village in Mirzamurad police station. The two have a four-year-old son, Arnab. Vikas Pandey is a teacher in Basic Education Department and Neetu Pandey is a teacher in Araziline. Neetu’s mother Pramila Devi said that for four-five months her daughter and son-in-law were living in a rented house in Churamanpur. There was a dispute between the two.
The dispute between the daughter and son-in-law started again on Monday night and was followed by a fight. It was only during the son-in-law’s assault that his daughter fell down from the roof and suffered a severe head injury. Neetu was taken to Vikas BHU Trauma Center, where she died during treatment.
Accused absconding, police engaged in search
On the other hand, Lohta Police Station Vishwanath Pratap Singh said that a case has been registered against Vikas Pandey on the Tahrir of the deceased’s mother Pramila Devi. He is being punished for his arrest.
