Vidyut Jammwal Teams Up With Sivakarthikeyan And AR Murugadoss For Their Next Film – News18

Vidyut Jammwal is making a comeback in Tamil cinema after 10 years. The action star has joined hands with AR Murugadoss and Sivakarthikeyan for the much-anticipated film, tentatively titled SK23. In an exciting update released by the film’s team, it was revealed that Vidyut will be stepping into a significant role in the project.

The makers of the film, Sri Lakshmi Movies, shared a behind-the-scenes video on platform X (Formerly known as Twitter) to announce the news. The clip features a glimpse of Vidyut arriving on the set and interacting with the crew. The caption of the post read, “Bringing back the villain who terrorized one and all. Welcoming the menacing Vidyut Jammwal on board for SKxARM.”

This is not the first time Vidyut is teaming up with AR Murugadoss. Previously, Vidyut worked with the director in the 2012 film Thuppakki, where he played the role of an antagonist, the leader of a sleeper cell who takes on Thalapathy Vijay.

Meanwhile, for SK23, Sivakarthikeyan will be sporting a thick beard look. This film will be the first collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and director AR Murugadoss. Although, the director wrote and co-produced Sivakarthikeyan’s sports film Maan Karate in 2014.

SK23 also features Sanjay Dutt, Biju Menon, and Rukmini Vasanth in significant roles. Anirudh who has worked with Sivakarthikeyan before is handling the music for this film. Sudeep Elamon has been hired as the cinematographer, while veteran editor Sreekar Prasad will handle the cuts. The film is being jointly produced by Sony Pictures and Kamal Haasan’s RajKamal Film International.

Apart from AR Murugadoss’ film, Vidyut Jammwal has multiple projects in the pipeline. He will be gracing the screens in director Gaurav Narayanan’s upcoming film Trisha 68. The film also features Trisha Krishnan and Tabu in the lead roles. His other notable projects include Director Atlee’s upcoming film AAA and an untitled project.

On the other hand, Sivakarthikeyan Doss is gearing up for director Rajkumar Periasamy’s upcoming film, Amaran. The actor will play the lead role of Major Mukund Varadarajan, while Sai Pallavi will feature as Indhu Varghese.
