Vinesh Phogat’s family has also reached out to support the Delhi strike amid the ongoing controversy over the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) President Brij Bhushan Sharan by Indian wrestlers. Vinesh’s brother Harvinder Phogat said such incidents should not happen to sportspersons.
If women wrestlers are sexually exploited then who will send their sisters and daughters to play. Looking at the future of the players, these incidents should be curbed. Vinesh has raised the voice of the incident that happened to him. It is condemnable for such an incident to happen to sportspersons who bring laurels to the country.
Vinesh is fighting the battle of future players
Harvindra Phogat said that Vinesh is not fighting only for herself. She is also fighting for the future of the upcoming players. Today such incident has happened with Vinesh. If we don’t raise our voice against them, then in the coming time only the players will be removed from the game. No good player will be ready.

A player is ready in 15-20 years
He said that it takes 15-20 years to prepare a player. During this, the family has to take care of every facility of the player. Many difficulties also have to be faced. On top of that, when such activities happen with the player, then no one will send his sister-daughter to play.
