Energy Minister AK Sharma inquired about the load on the feeder.
Energy Minister AK Sharma visited Gomti Nagar Vibhuti section late on Tuesday night to know the status of supply during power crisis. He checked the supply register with the load on the feeder installed there.
The minister also checked the numbers of officers near the notice board outside. Actually, there is a government directive that the numbers of JE, SDO, XEN and SSO will be written on all the sub-stations. So that the number can be easily available to the consumers.
The minister checked the registers of SSO. Every hour load and shutdown timings are written on it.
During this, the Energy Minister directed to see the load on the feeder and prepare its alternative. So that the consumers do not face any kind of problem. The power problem has increased in Uttar Pradesh since last one week. In villages and tehsils, where the supply was getting less than the scheduled schedule, the problem of fault had increased due to overload in the city. Due to this the supply is interrupted for 3 to 5 hours.
40 thousand consumers from Gomti Nagar
Gomti Nagar Division is one of the largest division of Lesa Trans Gomti in Lucknow. About 40 thousand consumers get electricity from here. The Vibhuti Khand sub-centre falls in the commercial and VIP areas of the city. From here electricity is given to the High Court Complex, Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, all the Corporate Houses, Commercial Tax Department Headquarters, State Information Commission Headquarters, Mandi Parishad, Hyatt Hotel, Duda Office and Urdu Department. For the last few days, the fault had started increasing in Gomti Nagar, in such a situation, angry people started complaining by tweeting about electricity.

Demand had reached 23 thousand MW
The demand for electricity had started increasing continuously since the heat of the past days. The highest demand of this year was on 30 April. It reached 23 thousand MW. The supply was only 19 thousand 366 MW. That is, there was a difference of 3 thousand 634 MW between demand and supply.
