‘The Kashmir Files’ fame director Vivek Agnihotri’s next film is ‘The Vaccine War’. This film is to be released on 28 September. Earlier this film was going to clash with Prabhas’s film ‘Salaar’ but later the makers of ‘Salaar’ postponed its release.

Prabhas’s fans abused me a lot: Vivek
Now in an interview, Vivek has taken a dig at the postponement of Salaar. He has made fun of Prabhas as well as his fans. In an interview given to The New Indian Express, Vivek said that Prabhas’ fans abused and trolled him a lot on social media.

Vivek is very confident about his film The Vaccine War.

Vivek said – no one should be underestimated
Vivek said in the interview, ‘Every film should get a chance and no one should be underestimated. The Vaccine War is a small film with no stars. We made it for 12.5 crores.

On the other hand, the film which was going to clash with us was Salaar, whose budget is Rs 300 crore. The fans of that film were abusing and trolling me.

He believed that The Vaccine War should not be released with Salaar. They used to say that send him away…he should not come…but look, someone else ran away.

It is clear from this comment of Vivek that he is pointing towards the postponement of the film Salaar. Artists like Nana Patekar, Anupam Kher and Raima Sen will be seen in The Vaccine War.

There is also discussion about the film Salaar that it may be released by December this year.

Climax of Salaar is being re-shot
On the other hand, Salaar, which has been continuously postponed, may not be released this year also. Earlier it had to be postponed due to pending work on VFX, but now some portion of its climax is being re-shot. Director Prashant Neel has reached Hyderabad with his team for this. Some shots of the film will be re-shot there in a schedule of 10 days.

Apart from this, work is also to be done on 600 pending VFX shots of the film. In such a situation, it seems difficult for the film to be released by the end of this year. Prashant will announce its release date only after its final edit. Shruti Haasan will be seen opposite Prabhas in Salaar.
