According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Sahil, a resident of Sunder Nagar in Kairana in Shamli, Uttar Pradesh. His father Islam and mother Bhathe work as laborers. Three children of Islam, 6-year-old son Salman, 12-year-old Sahil and 4-year-old Dauran were playing at home. She was accompanied by 6-year-old Sadiq and 9-year-old Fatima.

In the morning, the contractor called the five children to raise bricks with the greed to give them toffee and some money. The bricks had to be filled in the trolley. As the children raised the bricks, the wall fell on them. Islam and his wife came rushing to hear the sound of shouting and saw that Sahil was unconscious and the other children were crying loudly. In a hurry, the children were picked up and taken to PGI Khanpur, where Sahil succumbed during treatment. Sadiq’s condition is critical. He has been referred to Rohtak PGI. The remaining three children have been sent home after first aid. Islam has made a complaint to the police against the contractor of the kiln.
