Following RCB’s first WPL victory, one fan wrote on X, “If you had told me a few years ago that crowds would flood the streets, block roads to celebrate a women’s league title win, would have brushed it off. The scale of these celebrations signifies a paradigm shift, that could well redefine the landscape of women’s cricket in this country.”

One fan was able to the reaction of the Bengaluru people after Smriti Mandhana and other RCB players stepped onto the podium to loft the WPL trophy.

Another user shared how people celebrated at “Church Streets after RCB won the WPL Trophy.”
