While flagging off the rally, Director Professor GS Tomar said that conservation of ground water is the need of the hour. Water problem can be solved to a great extent by conserving rain water in hilly areas like Churuk. He expressed hope that this rally will be able to spread the message of importance of water conservation to the people.

The programme was specially supported by Registrar Dr. Amod Kumar Tiwari, Deans Dr. D.K. Tripathi and Dr. Himanshu Katiyar, and members of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Cell, Sikander, Ram Ishwar, Kalpana Singh, Dr. Vikas Tiwari and Head of Department of Applied Science Dr. Ravi Pratap Singh.
In this event, faculties Dr. Ravi Prakash Tripathi, Deepak, Dr. Bhavna Arora, Dr. Abhinav, Dr. Chiranjeevi, volunteer students of Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, and all the teaching and non-teaching staff participated enthusiastically.
