A young man was beaten to death in a brawl for being photographed on the Varmala stage at a wedding ceremony in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The father of the deceased lodged a complaint in the police station accusing 5 youths of the village of murder. The police have registered in the case and got involved in the legal process.

The entire case is related to his village under Majnu post in Chiluatal police station area. Raj Kapoor, son of village resident Ram Ujagir, was married on Monday. The procession went to Dadadih under PPganj police station. There was a fight between Chhotu alias Shiva (22 years) and Shatrughan for being photographed during the Jaimal program on stage. The people presently rescued the matter at that time. But as soon as all these came back home from Barat.

Shatrughna broke into a number of 5 and went to the house of Chhotu to assault him. During the fight, Chhotu’s head was attacked with a brick stone. Due to this he was seriously injured. Police was informed about the incident. Chowki Majnu and PRV police reached the spot. The police almost took Chhotu to PHC Jungle Kauria, where doctors referred him to Sadar Hospital due to more head injury. She died on the way to Sadar Hospital.

Chilluatal Inspector Neeraj Rai said that an FIR has been registered against the deceased’s father Ram Kishun. 5 accused have been arrested. The inquiry is going on. The dead body has been sent for post-mortem.
