The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) will release the 12th result on Thursday, July 22 at 3 PM. The result will be announced during a press conference at Vidyasagar Bhawan, Rabindra Milan Manch, 7th Floor of the Council. The candidates who have registered for class 12th this year can check their results through the board’s official websites wbresults.nic.in and exametc.com.

According to the released notification, the 12th result will be published on the official websites after the press conference at 4 pm. After this the marksheet will be distributed on July 23.

Result prepared according to 40:60 formula

In view of the increasing cases of corona in the country, the West Bengal government had canceled the 10th-12th examinations. Later, the Objective Assessment Scheme was announced to release the results of both the classes. According to the scheme, the result of class 12 students will be decided on the basis of 40:60 formula.

According to this formula, 40 percent weightage will be given to the best score out of four subjects in the secondary examination held in 2019, and final marks of 11 theory exams and 60 percent weightage will be given to practical or projects in science-arts.

View result through SMS

Students will also be able to check their result through SMS. One has to type WB12 registration number to view the result on mobile phone. After this the typed messages have to be sent to 56070, 5676750, or 56263.

How to check result:

  • First of all go to the official website wbresults.nic.in.
  • Click on the link ‘West Bengal 12th Board Result’ here.
  • When the new page opens, enter all the requested information.
  • Now after clicking on submit the result will be displayed on the screen.
