SRK and MS Dhoni have a similar sense of humour.
Shah Rukh Khan and MS Dhoni pulled Yuvraj Singh’s leg about Deepika Padukone, leaving Sachin Tendulkar in splits.
Shah Rukh Khan and MS Dhoni are two of the biggest celebrities in India. They are not only among the top in their fields but also share a similar sense of humour and wit. An old clip of the two stalwarts interacting at an event has resurfaced on Reddit and has gone viral. In the clip, SRK and Dhoni tease Yuvraj Singh about Deepika Padukone.
In the clip, Shah Rukh Khan asks MS Dhoni what he wanted to be when he grew up. Dhoni said, “Bada hoke bada banna chahta tha… Ek inch aur bada hona chahta tha, 5’11 pe hi ruk gaya hoon.” SRK mirrored his sentiment and said that he has the same problem. “Main bhi baal lambe kar raha hoon ki lamba lagoon,” he said.
SRK continued, “Lambe hero lambe hi rehte hain. But what I’ll tell you is, mere saath ek heroine hai, Deepika. Shayad tum unko jaante nahi hoge.” Dhoni retorted, “Yuvi (Yuvraj Singh) janta hai.” SRK then said, “Haan, Yuvi jaanta hai. Yuvi ki toh behen hain.”
This left everyone in the audience in splits, including Harbhajan Singh and Sachin Tendulkar. Yuvraj Singh also laughed at the joke and then in jest, gestured that he would hit MS Dhoni on stage.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan will soon be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s King. Shah Rukh Khan might have accidentally leaked the title of his next film. Having seen him last in Dunki, fans of SRK have been eagerly waiting for King Khan to announce his new film. While Shah Rukh had hinted that there was a project in the making, he’s been coy about the details. Multiple reports have claimed that he is working on a film titled King and it co-stars his daughter, actress Suhana Khan. Although SRK hasn’t confirmed the news, his new video seemingly confirmed the reports.
Shah Rukh shared a video with Cannes to congratulate cinematographer Santosh Sivan on receiving the prestigious Pierre Angenieux Excel Lens award at the Cannes Film Festival. While SRK’s message moved fans, many noticed that the script of King was placed on the table beside Shah Rukh Khan. The script featured the title of the film along with a few, unclear details. Soon, the video went viral with many preparing themselves for another blockbuster in the making.
