Actor Hugh Jackman, who played the role of Logan/Wolverine in Hollywood’s famous X-Men series, has separated from his wife. Hugh and his wife Deborah Lee Jackman have decided to mutually separate after 27 years of marriage.

According to reports, things were not going well between Hugh and Deborah for the past several days. Ultimately both of them have decided to end this relationship.

Separated to pursue personal growth
Regarding their separation, the couple issued a statement to CNN saying, ‘In this wonderful marriage, we got the opportunity to live together as husband-wife for almost 3 decades. Now we are changing our ways. We have decided to separate to pursue our personal growth.

The couple got married 27 years ago in 1996.

Family will be first priority
The couple said that this statement will be their only statement on their separation. For both of them, their family will now be the biggest priority and they will handle it with utmost love.

The couple adopted two children after Deborah suffered two miscarriages.

Hugh Jackman met Deborah in 1995 on the set of an Australian TV show. At that time Deborah was more established than him. Both of them got married in 1996. After Deborah suffered two miscarriages, the couple adopted two children, Oscar (23) and Ava (18).
