A tragic incident unfolded in Bengaluru where a young woman fatally stabbed her live-in partner. The event took place within the jurisdiction of Hulimavu police station on Tuesday.
The woman has been identified as Renuka, 24, hailing from Belagavi, while the deceased is Javed, 29, originally from Kerala.
As per the police report, Renuka and Javed, who were both involved in mobile phone repairs, shared a residence in a service apartment located in Akshaya Nagar.
Their relationship was marked by frequent quarrels, and on Tuesday, a major altercation erupted over an unspecified issue. In a fit of anger, Renuka wielded a knife, tragically striking Javed in the chest.
Though there was an attempt to shift Javed to the hospital immediately, he succumbed to injuries on the way.The police have registered a case in this regard and taken Renuka into custody. Further details regarding the incident are yet to emerge.
