Omkar, originally a resident of Bareilly district of Uttar Pradesh, said that he has been living in the Indra colony of Panipat for the past 20 years. His 23-year-old son Rajkumar Kabri worked in a spinning mill located near the gas godown. His wife Neelam also worked with him.

Pressing cotton wool into the machine, the sleeve cloth got stuck in the teeth of the machine. Due to which his hand started going into the machine. Seeing this, the wife working nearby switched off the machine, but by then the prince had gone completely inside the machine. The comrades pulled him out by the way. By then the prince was breathing, but he could not speak anything. The comrades rushed him to a private hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Married one and a half years ago
Rajkumar’s wife Neelam told that she too is a resident of Bareilly and they were married a year and a half ago. To help the family financially, she also started working in the factory with her husband. Now the accident took away her husband.
