One such actor, who worked at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s wedding, has now become a celebrity. The actor has collaborated with several well-known celebs, including Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma, and Pankaj Tripathi. Today, let’s take a look at his struggle journey. According to reports, when Khan’s father passed away, he had to face a lot of struggle. He took small jobs to earn a livelihood. But he always has a dream to become an actor. In 2010, he convinced his mother to allow him to pursue acting.
In an earlier interview, Aasif shared that during the beginning of his career to sustain himself in Mumbai, he started working as a waiter and said, “To sustain myself, I started working as a waiter at a hotel. After a few months, when I was working in the kitchen department, we had a party, which was Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s reception.”
Later, he left that job and worked for some time in a mall. Aasif then gave some auditions and joined a theatre group in Jaipur. Aasif began his entertainment career as a casting assistant, and when it came to acting, he started his journey as a junior artist. He was seen in Salman Khan’s Ready and Hrithik Roshan’s Agneepath. Then, he made a cameo appearance in the Akshay Kumar-starrer Toilet Ek Prem Katha.
He finally made his Bollywood debut in the movie India’s Most Wanted, alongside Arjun Kapoor. However, the film did not do well at the box office. He then turned to OTT. The actor made his OTT debut in 2018 with Mirzapur, where he played Babar, a loyal aide.
Aasif Khan came into the limelight after his performance in the hit show Jamtara, and since then, he has never looked back. He then starred in Panchayat. However, Aasif Khan was last seen in the movie The Great Indian Family, alongside Vicky Kaushal.
