The main event saw the likes of Drew McIntyre, Bronson Reed, Jey Uso and Ricochet square off in hopes of getting a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship title.

Following the Show of Shows, WrestleMania 40, WWE RAW made its return on April 8. The show aired live from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It featured all the fallout from the wrestling extravaganza, starting with a promo of the new WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes and The Rock. The show also featured a ton of wrestling action, starting with Ilja Dragunov’s one-on-one match against Shinsuke Nakamura. This was followed by a tag-team clash that saw John Cena make an in-ring return to RAW. The main event of the night saw big names, including Drew McIntyre, Bronson Reed, Jey Uso and Ricochet, square off to get a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship title.

The Rock And Cody Rhodes Appear

On the latest RAW episode, Triple H made his way to the ring and addressed the fans. He said that the WrestleMania 40 live event was the grandest show in the company’s history after which he welcomed Cody Rhodes on stage. The celebrations were interrupted by The Rock who approached the ring while carrying the People’s Championship. A warm exchange followed in which the duo shared their belts before The Rock left the ring.

John Cena Unveiled As The “Man You Cannot See”

During the show, Judgement Day took on WWE RAW Tag Team Champions Awesome Truth in a 3-on-2 handicap match. After a commercial break, fans witnessed John Cena make an unexpected in-ring return to RAW. The Miz made the tag to the 16-time World Champion who picked up some momentum with shoulder blocks. The match then witnessed a triple Five Knuckle Shuffle followed by a triple Attitude Adjustment.

Liv Morgan Attacks Rhea Ripley

In a backstage segment, Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio could be seen discussing Andrade’s betrayal. As soon as Dominik walked off, a chair came flying and hit Ripley in the head. Liv Morgan was the one to throw it and then followed up with more blows on Ripley before WWE officials had to intervene.

Jey Uso Becomes No. 1 Contender For WWE World Heavyweight Championship

The main event of RAW witnessed Drew McIntyre, Bronson Reed, Ricochet and Jey Uso compete in a Fatal 4-Way match. After some back-and-forth action, McIntyre and Jey could be seen exchanging some right hands. McIntyre got the upper hand with a Claymore Kick but interference from CM Punk led to Jey landing a super kick onto the scot. He then finished McIntyre off with a top rope splash.

Chelsea Green vs Jade Cargill: Jade Cargill hit the Jaded to seal a pinfall victory.

Bronson Reed vs Drew McIntyre vs Jey Uso vs Ricochet for WWE World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender’s match: Jey Uso won the match via pinfall after hitting Drew McIntyre with a Diving Splash.
