Yash starrer KGF 3 will be released in 2025: Hombale Films confirmed – shooting will start from October 2024, KGF 2 had earned 1200 crores

The third part of Yash starrer Kannada blockbuster film KGF, KGF 3, will be released in 2025. Work on the production of the film will start from December 2023. This information has been given by production house Homble Films.

According to the spokesperson of Homble, KGF 3 will be announced on December 21 to mark the completion of five years of the film KGF. The first round of discussion has taken place between the director, producer and lead actor of KGF 3 and the storyline has also been discussed. Shooting of the film will begin in October 2024 and it will be released in 2025.

KGF franchise started in 2018

The KGF franchise was launched in 2018. After this, in 2022, KGF 2 also became a success and became the highest grossing film of Kannada cinema. Made for Rs 100 crore, this film had a worldwide collection of Rs 1200 crore. It is at number four among India’s highest grossing films worldwide. This is the second highest grossing film in India.

There was a different craze among the audience for KGF 2.

At the time of the release of KGF-2, people took to the streets in the South. Tickets were being sold in black, there were cutouts of Yash outside the theatre. Aarti of Yash’s cutout was being performed amidst drums, while in some parts his milk Abhishek was also performed. The crazy fans were so eager to watch the film in Bengaluru that the police had to resort to lathicharge to control the crowd.

Yash became a star after KGF

Yash had worked in 9 films before doing KGF but he got real stardom from the 2018 film KGF. This film made him a superstar. His character Rocky Bhai was very much liked. The film had collected Rs 250 crore. With this film, Kannada cinema got recognition across the country.

According to media reports, Yash will be seen in the main lead in the third part of the film too, but after the fifth part, the actor of this franchise will also be changed.
