The fifth and last match of the 5-match series between India and England is being played in Dharamshala. On the first day of the Test, England captain Ben Stokes won the toss and chose to bat first at the HPCA Stadium. The team was all out after scoring 218 runs.

In reply, Team India scored 135 runs for one wicket till stumps. Yashasvi Jaiswal completed 1000 runs in his Test career at Dharamshala. With this, he became the Indian batsman to score 1000 runs in the least number of matches. At the same time, he became the second Indian to do so in the fewest innings. He became the highest run scoring Indian batsman in the series against England.

Earlier, Virat Kohli had scored the most runs in a series against England. On the Dharamshala ground, Jaiswal played an inning of 57 runs, in which he hit 3 sixes. Along with this, he has also come to the forefront in terms of hitting sixes against a team.

1. Player with second most successful average after completing thousand runs
Yashasvi is the second Indian to have the best average after completing thousand runs. His current average is 71.43. When Cheteshwar Pujara completed thousand runs, his average was also the same. Vinod Kambli is at first place in the list with an average of 83.33. Batting average is calculated by scoring runs in comparison to wickets. If Yashasvi is out after scoring 50 runs in the first innings of his career, his average will be 50.

2. Jaiswal is the fourth youngest Indian to complete thousand runs.
Yashasvi Jaiswal is the fourth youngest Indian batsman to complete 1000 runs in Test cricket. Sachin Tendulkar is at number one in this list. Sachin had touched the figure of thousand runs in Test cricket at the age of just 19 years and 217 days.

Sachin continued playing Tests even after retiring from ODI-T20 and finally said goodbye to Test cricket at the age of 39. He scored a total of 15921 runs while playing 200 tests, which is still a world record.

3. Yashasvi, the second batsman in the world and the first batsman of India to complete thousand runs in the least number of matches.
Yashasvi Jaiswal completed 1000 runs in 9 matches. He became the second batsman in the world to do so after playing the least number of matches. Don Bradman of Australia is at number-1 in the list. He had scored 1000 runs in just 7 matches. Yashasvi is the first batsman for India to score thousand runs playing the least number of matches.

4. Jaiswal is the second Indian to complete thousand runs in the fewest innings.
Jaiswal is at sixth place in terms of completing thousand runs in the fewest innings. England's Herbert Sutcliffe and West Indies' Everton Weekes had touched the thousand mark in 12 innings. Vinod Kambli has done this in the fewest innings among Indians. After him comes Yashasvi Jaiswal.

5. Jaiswal's most runs in a series against England
Yashasvi Jaiswal has come on top in terms of scoring the most runs in a Test series against England. He has scored 681 runs in the series against England. Earlier this record was in the name of Virat Kohli. Kohli had scored 655 runs in the series against England in 2016.

6. Indian Jaiswal who hit the most sixes against a team
Yashasvi Jaiswal has become the Indian batsman to hit the most sixes against a team. He broke the record of Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin has hit 25 sixes against Australia in his career. Jaiswal hit 26 sixes against England in just 9 innings.

7. Kuldeep Yadav's second best strike rate in Tests
Kuldeep Yadav, who completed 50 wickets in Tests by taking 5 wickets against England, has the second best strike rate in Test cricket. Kuldeep's strike rate among those who have taken at least 50 wickets in Tests is 36.8. Strike rate in bowling means 'wickets per balls', that is, Kuldeep takes one wicket in approximately 36.8 balls.

Kuldeep Yadav has become the bowler to complete 50 wickets in the fewest balls. He left Akshar Patel behind by completing 50 wickets in 1871 balls.

9. Jadeja dismissed Root most times
Ravindra Jadeja has dismissed Joe Root the most number of times along with Steve Smith in his Test career. Jadeja has dismissed both of them 8-8 times. Jadeja dismissed Root LBW in the first innings of the Dharamshala Test. Root faced 56 balls and scored 26 runs.
