He is also a writer and producer. Currently, Rakshit Shetty is promoting his upcoming film, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello: Side B in Telangana. The film is the Telugu version of the Kannada film Sapta Sagaradaache Ello: Side A, which was released earlier this month. During the promotions recently, Rakshit spoke about his ex-girlfriend, actress Rashmika Mandanna. Rakshit Shetty and Rashmika Mandanna were a popular couple in the South film industry. Rakshit was asked by a YouTuber whether he is still in touch with her. Even though he has avoided questions about her in the past, this time Rakshit Shetty answered. He said, “Yes, Rashmika and I are still in touch. She had a big dream in the world of cinema. Accordingly, she is moving towards that dream. She has the will to achieve the task she set out to do. We should pat her on the back for her achievement.”

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello: Side B has been released in theatres today, September 22. The film is directed by Hemanth M Rao and stars Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth in the lead roles. The Kannada version of the film has been receiving a great response from the audience and there has been a lot of hype for the Telugu version as well.
