The Uttar Pradesh government today presented its 5th and full budget for the session 2021-22. The total budget of this session is 5 lakh 50 thousand 270 crores. This year the budget is 38 thousand crores more than the budget of the previous session. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that this budget will be a medium to give a chance to new possibilities. This budget is for the development of all sections of farmers, youth and women. It is our resolve to tap every house and give work to every hand.

Today our cabinet is also e-cabinet

The Chief Minister said that I heartily congratulate Finance Minister Suresh Khanna and his entire team for the first paperless budget not only in Uttar Pradesh but in any state of the country. I am happy that our cabinet has also become an e-cabinet from today. The e-cabinet meeting was held before the budget.

Big things of the Chief Minister’s press conference

  • The budget for this time is Rs 5,50,270.78 crore, which is 7.3% more than the budget of 2020-21. Road to every village, digital to every village and tap to every house. New schemes have also been introduced for women. Mahila Samarth Yojana and Mukhyamantri Saksham Suchitran Yojana have been started. The government will also provide tablets under Abhyudaya Coaching Scheme. Its provision has been made in the budget.
  • A budget has also been made for sports promotion within the state. A state university will be built on a board that does not have a state university. A large arrangement has also been made in the budget for health infrastructure.
  • The state government will register the people of the unorganized sector. The government will also provide a health cover of 5 lakhs. There will also be registration of businessman in the state. In which, in the event of an accident with the merchant, an insurance cover of 10 lakhs was given. On the lines of Pune’s National Lab, an institute in the state will also be built in Lucknow.
  • There is continuous work on the expressway. Budget has been arranged for land acquisition for Ganga Express. Budget has been made to connect the villages with roads. Uttar Pradesh government is also increasing air connectivity on a large scale.
  • In FY 2021-22, a revenue target of Rs 41500 crore has been set from the Excise Department. Asia is becoming the largest airport in Jewar. International airport is also being built in Kushinagar. Infrastructure has also been made for the police in the state.

38 thousand crore big budget presented from last session

Finance Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Suresh Khanna presented the 5th and full budget of his government 2021-22 in the Assembly. The total budget of this session is 5 lakh 50 thousand 270 crore (Rs 5,50,270.78 crore). Whereas in 2020-21, the budget was Rs 5.12 lakh crore. This year the budget is 38 thousand crores more.
