The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh today presented its first paperless and last full budget of tenure. In this, the government has given two new schemes. Both are for women. The Mahila Samarthi Yojana has been launched to empower the girls with ‘Chief Minister Competent Sufficient’ and to empower women. A total provision of Rs 300 crore has been made for this. The Yogi government has emphasized half the population in its election budget.

4,094 crores for the nutritional program

The Yogi government is already running the ‘Chief Minister Kanya Sumangala’ scheme to strengthen daughters in the state. Under this, a budget of Rs. 1200 crores has been arranged for providing tablets to all eligible daughters of the state. Apart from this, women and children do not have to fall prey to malnutrition, for this, a new scheme named ‘Chief Minister Saksham Sucharnat’ will be started from the financial year 2021-22. Under which a provision of Rs 100 crore has been made. In addition, an amount of Rs. 4,094 crore has been made for the Nutrition Program and Rs. 4,15 crore for the National Nutrition Campaign.

Women will be enabled with ‘Women Strength Scheme’
A new scheme was announced in the budget to empower women in the state. Giving women and daughters of the state a new scheme called ‘Mahila Samarthi Yojana’ will be launched in the state. An amount of 200 crores has been proposed in the budget for this scheme. With this, a provision of Rs. 32 crore has been made in the budget for the establishment of Mahila Shakti Kendras in the state.
