One person was shot dead in Basila village of Sadar Kotwali in Chandauli district of Uttar Pradesh. Bottles of liquor, matches and cigarettes were found near the dead body. There was a lot of resentment in the area after the incident. The police claimed to have solved the mystery of the massacre two months ago. Police claim that it was only when they came to know about the relationship between the wife and the elder brother that the younger brother along with his companions killed him.
According to the information, two days ago, in the police encounter in Kurna village of Alinagar, a cash reward of 50 thousand Ashutosh Yadav alias Chitku Yadav was arrested by the police who was involved in the murder. When the miscreant Ashutosh told about the relationship of Mukesh, the younger brother of the deceased involved in the incident, the police came to know about the murder.
Went out on bail only in January
After receiving the information, the Sadar Kotwali police and the Swat team arrested Mukesh Yadav, the younger brother of the deceased, the main accused in the murder and also recovered the pistol, two magazines and 10 cartridges involved in the murder. During interrogation, the accused Mukesh told that in the year 2017, he had gone to jail on a murder charge and returned from jail in January 2020 on bail.
Step taken on knowledge of illegal relations
During interrogation, I told that my brother had an illicit relationship with my wife. When I returned home, I came to know about the illicit relationship between the two. Then I met the culprit Ashutosh Yadav and Ramanand and made a plan to kill my brother. For this, on the night of August 27, I sent Ram Nandan home and called my brother Rakesh, deceased, on a bike to the border of Basila.
Ashutosh alias Chitku Yadav was already here with me who gave me a pistol. We got drunk and then shot the pistol on the shoulder of the brother. After his death, the three of us fled from there. The Superintendent of Police said that a pistol involving the murder has also been recovered from the accused.
